About Elevate Latino
Latinos in the United States make up nearly 20% of the United States population, and we contribute more than 3 TRILLION DOLLARS to the economy. Did you know that Latinos are 1.7% more likely to be entrepreneurs than the general population? Or that we make up 23% of all movie tickets sold across the country? Our community is powerful, ambitious, and determined. But fear-mongering headlines and one-note representations on TV don’t represent the richness of our culture or the dignity of our community.
Elevate Latino is a place for us. It’s a place where Latinos of all backgrounds, cultures, and experiences can come together to explore the impact of our communities in the United States - and our potential.
